Contactless Select and Collect Services

Select and Collect

Our select and collect options are available for those that want to maintain greater social distancing.

Option 1. If you want to select your books online.

Go to our library catalogue or Westland District Library app and Log In using your library card number and PIN/password (call us if you have forgotten your password). Browse or search for books and click ‘place hold’ for books you want. Your books will be available from the issues desk the next day or if you prefer you can call us to arrange a collection time for contactless pickup.

Option 2. If you want us to select your books for you.

Complete this form and a member of staff will be in touch to discuss when your items will be available for collection within 2 working days

Option 3. If you prefer to talk to us about selecting your books.

Call us on 03 7556208, tell us how many books you want, the authors you like, the type of story or genre that you prefer, and library staff will make a selection for you to collect at a pre-arranged time.

If you have any questions, please contact us.

Select and Delivered

Our select and delivery options are only available for households that are in self-isolation, located in the Hokitika area.

Request a selection of adults, young adults and children's items in a combination to suit your household's needs. The items will be issued for a six week period and a contactless delivery scheduled. We ask you not to return your items until everyone in the household is out of isolation.
